How to report spam email.

Google email prevents most spam from reaching your Gmail inbox, but if an unwanted email message does make it through, you can report the email as spam. The more spam you mark, the better Google email will get at weeding out those types of emails.
When you report the email as spam, Gmail will look into the reported email to investigate the issue.

If you see spam in your Gmail inbox:
  1. Select the email you'd like to report.
  2. Click the spam button in the toolbar above your message list.
(If you have the email open, you can also report it as spam by clicking the same button.)
Android 4.0+
  1. Open the email, or touch and hold the message while viewing your inbox.
  2. Click the menu ( or your device's menu button).
  3. Click to Report spam button.

“How to View spam”

To see the messages in Gmail inbox has marked as spam, click the menu and select Spam.
If you find a email that shouldn't have been marked as spam, open the email and touch the menu ( or your device's menu button) and select Report not spam.
Android 2.2-2.3
You can report spam following either of the steps below:
  • While reading the conversation's emails, click Menu > More > Report spam button.
  • Check one or a batch of conversations in your Gmail inbox or other conversation list, touch Menu > Report spam.
When you report a Gmail conversation as spam, the conversation and all its email are removed from your Gmail Inbox. You can view the email you’ve marked as spam by viewing email with the Spam label.
  1. Check the box next to the emails, or open the Gmail message.
  2. At the top-right corner, touch the down arrow.
  3. Touch Report spam button.
